You Can Prepare an Idli in a Different Way!
Most of us are those who insist on having idli, dosa, or puttu for breakfast.
But if you forget to grind the flour to prepare desserts like dosa and idli, you will not be able to make them. But now let’s understand in detail how you can prepare delicious and different idli even if you forget to grind the flour.
In this way, semolina is used instead of rice to prepare idli. First, take the required semolina in a bowl. Then, put a pan on the stove and when it is hot, pour a little oil into it.
When the oil starts to heat, add mustard, cumin, and green chilies and fry until the green smell goes away. Then add a little curry leaves, ginger, and finely chopped onion and fry them. Add the semolina that you took earlier to this bowl and mix until the green smell goes away.
Then put the prepared ingredients in a bowl. Add a quarter cup of sour yogurt to it and mix it. Then add a little salt and a pinch of baking soda to this mixture and set aside for a while to let the flour rest.
During this time, you can prepare the required chutney for the idli. Set aside for at least half an hour to ferment the flour.
Then, check the consistency of the flour and add water if necessary to mix it. In the same way as you prepare regular idli, grease an idli plate with oil, pour the prepared dough into it and steam it. Now a delicious and different idli is ready.
